Enter a landscape image into a portrait document

Hi, does anyone know how to insert a landscaped picture into a portrait document so that I don't have to turn my head sideways. I lost a few marks in a recent essay which is really annoying and a little unfair if your supposed to be judged on the content! Of course the problem I may have is that to turn it to portrait I guess I have to reduced the size of the image which may make it difficult to read...any thoughts

I'm using Excel 2010 if this makes a difference
