Hi guys! Just need some help. Is there a formula that I can use in the conditional formatting so that every time I change something with the cell, it's background will turn red?
Thanks!

I am unable to understand your logic
Assume that you are changing the cell then the color get changed to Red and it will get stayed on it. Again if you are changing the cell and you wants to change the color to red. But the cell is already having a color as red since it is already changed and what is the logic in marking the cell color as red again and again on each change?

The closest I can think of would be to highlight the last cell that was updated. The formula would look something like this (this would be the conditional formatting for A1):

This is untested and I'm assuming it works based off what I read in the help file for the CELL function.
excel.JPG Hi! Thanks for your response. The purpose is just to alert us that the cell is change. Either thru conditional formatting or data validation. I've attach the pic. If something is change on the yellow cell/s , Is it possible to display an alert or something? Do you think it's possible? Thanks!
Thanks Spitzerpl ! You rocks!
Hi there Spitzerpl ! Thanks for your idea earlier. I tried the formula that you mentioned . It actually worked on the first cell. But as I do the CF on the other cells, the first cell that I formatted changes its color also. Your help is highly appreciated. I've attached the file and what I need is for the cells in yellow to change to red if the data in that particular cell is modified. Is it possible?

Thanks Sixthsense ! It also works but even when changes are made on the other cells, it still prompts.
Try the below code and change the Range("B1:D10") to your desired range
