**First of all, I want to say this is my first post on this site and I appreciate any help y'all may be able to provide me on this issue.**
I'll try to explain my issue as clearly as I can so y'all will be able to provide the best help possible.
I work for a school systems transportation department and I have an excel spreadsheet with all of our bus numbers on it. All of our bus numbers start with the year it was made and also have the number it was in the shipment. For example the 5th bus from 2013 would be 13-05. In this spreadsheet I have a column that looks like this:
Bus Number
98-01
00-03
05-20
07-02
09-26
01-43
99-04
99-05
98-03
12-01
12-02
13-06
00-05
09-16
14-01
If I sort A to Z then 00- buses will be at the top and the 99- buses will be at the end. This will not work for me. Here's the question I have:
Is there a way to sort this list so that the 98- and 99- buses will come before the 00- through 14- buses? Thanks!
