@DBY - surely the "AND" is superfluous, as the cell cannot be both blank, AND have a value?
I think a more straightforward approach would be:
=IF(A1<0.05,IF(A1>0.05,1,"")
@Boosted7 - please note that a cell value of 0.05 is not catered for in the information you have provided.
