Need Help: Transform Column to Row Data

Hello, this is my first post here. I stumble upon this Awesome Website in search for some answers to my MS Excel questions. I kinda having a hard time on one of the exercises given to me. Any kind soul can help me with this?

Task: Transform the table below in such a way that all the items in a row start with the same letter. Consequently, the letters "a" through "j" should run from top to bottom in the first column. I attached the spreadsheet for everyone's reference.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Your description is a little vague, but perhaps this is what you want: in cell B14 and copy across and down:

    =INDEX($B$2:$K$11,COLUMNS($A:A),ROWS($1:1))

    inal30,

Easiest way is to copy your original table then right click the destination cell, paste special and check transpose.

For your Uppercase use the formula
