Drop down menu when selected auto populates another cell with linked data

Hello

I want to know how to select from a drop down menu of values on sheet one with the data validation source coming from same workbook on sheet 3 which will then auto populate a number in say cell D2.

So I have Manufacture part numbers in a down list in A42. I want to select one of the 40 different part numbers in the drop down list and have it auto populate a price in D42 for the part. This would repeat for A42-A82 for part number and D42-D82 for price.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Deb thanks. I have put together what I have so far. It is a work in progress. I still have to add customer database etc. One more question I have is when I select the PO # drop down box and select a predetermined po# can I depopulate that number so I can not select the same PO # twice? Anyway any help would be great. Thanks!
