I couldn't explain this in the title, but hopefully a picture presents the question well: Spectro Color Range.jpg
This isn't a normal graph because the X and Y axis don't actually represent true data. The Y axis is more of a label whereas the X axis is the actual range being used. What I'm trying to do is create a bar for a color (color doesn't have to be done automatically) and that bar extends over a certain range on the graph. So in the example, Armour Black is rated from 1100 to 1850 for label 212378 and then Copper Wood is rated from 2600 to 3330 for that same label. These are logically separated horizontally because there is no value in the space between.
For label 212379, the same thing takes place, but it's offset this time between their own individual min and max. I understand if this would have to be separated by label (one graph for 212379 and one graph for 212378), but my question is if there is a way to do this (or perhaps a better method to represent this using Excel charts). Right now it's all done manually by filling in the cells and drawing the line for the axes, etc.
Please feel free to ask any questions as to what's going on here.
Thanks in advance!
