Change date from xx.xx.xx to xx/xx/xx in 3000 cells.

    Hey guys,

I was asked to put some conditional formatting into a spreadsheet.

    I used this formula:

Were F7 is the date of the training and F4 is how long the training is valid for.

The only problem is that the dates were put in a xx.xx.xx format and my conditional formatting seems not to be reacting to that, but it works with xx/xx/xx.

Is there any way to fix that, other than changing every cell manually?

    Thanks,
    Al

Another option would be to highlight all the "date" cells, select Text2Columns, click next/next, select date, select the format you want, OK
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Thanks Minnesotaart, excellent utility, I'll be very happy to use it many time in the future.

@FDibbins - I'm using Excel 2003 and I'm not sure if the Text2Columns option is available to me, I have never used it before.
