I have big library books database file. now i want to re check all the book with physical stock and mark in excel file.
i have one more file with books barcode no.
now i want to mark multiple cell in sheet..

i have one big library books record file with 40000 record.
now i have one new file with updated isbn no list.
now i want to update (cross check) my old file and with new file of isbn no.
no i do, find isbn no in old file and do color or row.
can you give me some easy idea.....
Make use of Vlookup Function.
Just do a google search about Vlookup function you will get lot of materials with clear explanations about how to use it.
After that apply auto filter to the arrived result and color it...
