Border top bottom

Hello,

As per the attached file, I need to automatically have between pages a border to close the table when printing.

For example, I would need to have a border between row 47&48 in the attached file. Otherwise when I print the document out the excel table is not closed at the bottom of the page 1 and neither at the top of the page2.

The worksheet (sheet 2) is what I would need to get when printing the document.

Can you please help?

You don't know from your profile which version of Excel you are using, but open up the Workbook in Page View (in Excel 2010 and later this option is bottom right of screen), find the last row or better still the Header & Footer space and put a line in there.

Maybe conditional formatting would help.

I did an example where 47 lines fit on a page.

Then I did <contol-A> to select everything, and
Format > Conditional formatting

For the "Condition" I used

and for the "Format" I used a bottom cell border.

@ Ursul: I use excel 2010 (I will update my profile). I already have a footer and header in my original document and don't get how I could add a border in the footer then..
@ Fotis1991: It works for the first page but If I create 20 pages Would I have to enter that formula for each page?

No. Not at all! Formula creates a border every 47 lines. Just fix your range!

Sorry graiggoriz I've been working in Word too much - my mistake ... I forgot Excel doesn't haven't the simple Header & Footer area like Word. I suggest you use Fotis1991's suggestion as it works well and he is a master!

Hey Fotis1991, Sorry I thought I got back to you (In fact I did but my computer crashed when I plugged it back to the docking station...) Anyway it seem that your answer suits me fine! I only haved had the chance to check the whether it works when the rows have different height.
