    Creating a usable phonelist

    Hi everyone,

I've spent the last hour or so - scanning old posts, but nothing really suits my needs.

I have been tasked with starting a phonelist database for my company - as our old database was corrupt, and a new system must be put into place. We have roughly 1000 employees... for the purpose of keeping this as simple as possible - I have created a spreadsheet with 3.

Basically- all I really need is a search function. Please see below

Thank you sooooo much for whoever helps me out, im really at a loss...

I think that you would be further ahead to use a table in sheet2. This would allow you to search, sort, filter and create other reports as needed.

I see your point; unfortunately, it still does not provide me with the ability to search the list, column, chart, table etc. Thanks though.

Hey thats pretty cool - now, how can i see the formula to imput it into my existing spreadsheet???? or is that even possible? I'd be great to put the headers (with the search capability) into my sheet 2 - which would make my life waaaaaaaaay easier...

Thank you so much for showing me this.

Then you should rewrite the vba and I don't know if that is possible
    Unfortunately I can't do it
