    merged Cells unmerging when I move them or insert rows/columns

    Does anyone know how to prevent merged cells from unmerging when I move them or insert rows/columns

    Thanks very much

    (Using Excel 2003)

    It won’t get Un-Merged if you insert the same size of Cells/Rows…

    ok, how can I determine what size the inserted row/collum is? It also happens when I cut and paste the merged cells. thanks
