Converting USD amount from number to text

Hi all,

I have text amount in L55 column. The amount is auto summed amount. Example, $ 5081.16

Now in C59 column (total FOB) I have to write the amount in text manually. Can anyone help me to make any formula to make the amount converted in text automatically??? I badly need this. Attaching image.

THE Format of text amount has to be like below.

ex: FIVE THOUSAND EIGHTY ONE AND SIXTEEN CENTS ONLY.

It has to be caps locked, there will be and between cents and main amount, there wil be cents after that. attaching imagae.

No way to do this using formula.

or just download the attached spreadsheet and make the changes necessary to make it work for you.

How to install your new code

1. Copy the Excel VBA code
2. Select the workbook in which you want to store the Excel VBA code
3. Press Alt+F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor
4. Choose Insert > Module
5. Edit > Paste the macro into the module that appeared
6. Close the VBEditor
7. Save your workbook (Excel 2007+ select a macro-enabled file format, like *.xlsm)

To run the Excel VBA code:

1. Press Alt-F8 to open the macro list
2. Select a macro in the list
3. Click the Run button

Sorry for late and thanks for ur help. I practically used and work this formula. It worked until one serious problem appeared .

When i saved and transferred the file to another PC, after opening the file the formula appeared with empty/error. The file didnt open with the formula automatically. I dont know, may be the macro was not activated that pc. i didnt save it as xlsm file as i have to keep it as excel 97-2003 version like ur file so that any pc can read that file.

can you help and show me how to fix the macro in the file permanently so that it can be appeared at any other pc when it will be opened (excel 97-2003 ).

Here is how you would do it. Set up a personal file as explained and it will be available to all excel files.
