Bar Code Creator

I want to create bar codes above a string of numbers. For example, if I type in 5435634634 I want a bar code to be created above it. It seems as if there are a lot of sites that will sell you this tool but I know it can be done for free in Excel 2010.

That website has a watermark and does not seem to be compatible with excel. I want something directly compatible with excel 2010

I use the code 39 bar code font available here, http://http://www.idautomation.com/b...fonts/code-39/, together with this bar code reader http://http://www.ers-online.co.uk/p...arcode-scanner, works well.

You simply install the bar code font into Windows (an installation .exe is supplied in the package), then anything formated with this font is displayed as a bar code. The bar code reader just connects to a usb port, Windows seems to find a suitable driver automatically, then anything scanned by the reader just appears as if the text/numbers had been typed on a the keyboard.

The bar code font is free for non commercial use (ie personal or charity).
