No/stop calculation when doing Text To Column function

Hi,

I have some data i'm pasting into excel. One column of data i would like is, for example, +140/132.

I would like a column of numbers in this format (+xxx/xxx) once i have applied to colunm using the text to column function.

The problem i have is that once these numbers are in their column, excel automatically assumes this is a division and shows the sum of 1.06818 (140/132)

Is there a way to stop this calculation so that it just shows +140/132?

After pasting the data, select all cells and edit/replace the equals (=) with a null ()

Another option from "Text-to-column"

1. text-to-column
2. delimeted
3. select space , tabs -> then next
***4. in the "DATA PREVIEW" window select the column with those numbers,,then select the "Text" in Data Column Format -> Finish
