Unique order ID

I am on a internship of bussines company.

i want to create unique order id's on my excel files. Because there are some duplicate Order ID's

maybe its something simple, some one some suggest?

On the Data Ribbon, there is a Remove Duplicates icon. You could copy the list with duplicate data to another place in your workbook, then use the Remove Duplicated tool.

welcome to the forum, sjowie. just the list & without figures or any other info? go to Data-> Remove Duplicates. Check the option that "My data has headers". Check only the column that determines it's a duplicate

Hi,

to remove duplicate values, you could easily use the Remove Duplicates command in the Data Tools Group on the Data tab.
