Red face Pulling information from one sheet to another.

I have created my main spreadsheet in a form format - one form per student in a row downwards (30 students) and then a row for each of 4 terms.

On a separate sheet I want to pull particular entries. I have done this for Term 1 and can continue and do Terms 2 - 4. However, I have to wonder if there is not an easier way. If not, then I'm good to continue - just takes a couple of hours to create the second sheet section for each term.

Thanks for your help and advice

Whoops - I locked the spreadsheet - to unlock use PM

The forms you are using are not very well suited for retrieving information.

The use of merged cells for example makes things difficult (avoid merged cells at all costs except for cosmetic purposes - If necessary format as " Center across selection" is a better approach). It is also not easy to pull the Term.

If possible, it would be easier to build a table with various columns - Student's name - Term - Date, etc...

You then could enter data using a simple userform ( as described here for example)

It would then be quite easy to retrieve information to analyze data. I know it's a big job, but once it's done, things will go very smooth.

Thank you - I seem to like to do it the hard way! All good learning I'm sure. I will take the time to try doing it as you suggest - thank you for that. If I do that now, I'll know for the future.
