    Calc average over the year

    Hi

I have a spreadsheeet set up to record fuel usage over the year. I can calculate the average cost but is there a way to have it automatically calcualted when the next months value is entered. For example lets say I've entered Jan and Feb values I can calculate that easily but then I enter March I have to do a new calculation. Can this be done automatically.

    Probably a very easy answer.

    Thanks guys

Can you attach a workbook, so we can see how your data is structured?
let Source = #table({"Question","Thread", "User"},{{"Answered","Mark Solved", "Add Reputation"}}) in Source

If I give you Power Query (Get & Transform Data) code, and you don't know what to do with it, then CLICK HERE

    A very simple example

The average should change in P:11 when a new value is entered for each month.

Ahh I have a problem, my fault I didn't make clear in my attachment. the values on the remaining months are set to 0 and automatically change when updated in another spread sheet.

This is why attaching workbooks is better than JPGs...

    Try:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
