Something missing ... How can I make excel post the #'s from this spread sheet to column J

Starting on row 10 I have posted the new format of numbers that I need excel to work with.

This solution looks good but has one problem. How do you make excel post the numbers into
    column J.

    Thank you,
    Richard

    Hi,

Can you explain exactly what you are trying to do. It's not clear to me and I can see no obvious connections between numbers in columns A:G and numbers in J:M.

Make sure yo explain any rules or calculations that apply.

Select J10:N16 and enter this array formula (entered with Ctrl + Shift + Enter ) in J10

    Formula: copy to clipboard

If that isn't what you mean, can you explain further or post what you expect as the result?

I am not understanding what just happened. I posted a positive to your post but then it said it was a negative. How can I make this right?

If you are referring to me, you did post a POSITIVE...I just checked my UserCP and there was a positive from you....thank you.

If you are referring to Richard Buttrey, he should be able to verify on his account and maybe be able to do something about it seeing that he has Moderator status.

I hope that you can get that straightened out. As far as I am concerned, it is too easy to make a mistake in that area and the older I get the easier it is....one should be able to make a correction before leaving the thread.

If you need me to say something to them please do let them know as you were helpful in steering me to see how to get this done and you deserve a good mark, not an accidental bad one.

Thank you again and if there is anything that I can do to fix this please do let me know.

    Hi,

Don't worry about it. These things happen. I'm sure Arlette will be along to sort it out in due course. But thanks for the concern.

Between the two of you ... you got me to take a closer look at what was given to me by looking at the calculations that I had received earlier and by trying to understand how to explain them to you I found out that they did work for the situation after all.

Thank you again to the two of you,
    Richard

    Thank for giving feedback.

I'm hopeful that Richard will get things straightened out. Accidents happen and should be correctible. That is only reasonable.
