I have a cell (lets say F4) with the formula "=A3" in it. In cell A3 is text that is partially italicized. I need a way for F4 to populate not only the text that is in A3 but also the font style. I'm hoping I don't need to use VBA for this. Please help.
No native Excel formula applies formatting from another cell to the cell containing the formula.
Ron, thank you for your reply. I thought this might be the case. Can anybody help with a VBA code that could accomplish this? Basically, I just need for any font styles (especially italics and underline) to be copied throughout all replicated cells on all sheets. So, if A3 contains italics and B4=A3, I need B4 to also be in italics.

Even with VBA...If the cell contains a formula, subsets of the evaluated results cannot be formatted individually.
