    How to apply filter on multiple excel columns

    Well we are trying to fetch some data using excel filters. But we are unable to apply filter simultaneously on two excel columns. The problem is explained in the attached sheet. If you have any query/doubt in understanding the whole problem then writ it.

    its showing only the top rows for both Ram and Atish. I want that it should show all the cells containing Ram if we select Ram in filter. And it also should show all the cells containing Atish if we select Atish in filter.

    Ok, see, try this one instead, it requirs a helper column.

    EDIT: just use the text filter and contains, it appears to give you what you want.
