is there a limit for copying and pasting from one spreadsheet to another? is it that I am copying from a pivot table and pasting as values?

In copy-pasting, I'd avoid entire sheet & entire column/row ops. Do it only for minimal, selected ranges which contain the required data. This simple precaution seems to minimize excel hangs
