I have a database of information I download into excel but the columns of data I download is not in my preferred order, so I'm trying to set up a excel file that has 2 tabs. Tab 1 has all the columns of data in my preferred order which I download from a program of mine, and Tab 2 has all of the same columns of data but in a different order.
So both Tabs 1 and 2 will have all the same columns of information but in a different order/arrangement.
I've attached a sample excel file. I need a formula that will go into the yellow highlighted cells in Tab 1 MASTER that will search the column header values in Tab 2, and when it finds a match of that name that's located in Row 1 of Tab 1 MASTER, it will return each of the values in that column into my Tab 1 MASTER.
So basically, it's a formula that will automatically rearrange/sort the data in the order I prefer versus the order that the data is downloaded in.
