    Possibly IF function solution needed-

Any help here would be very much appreciated.
The attached spreadsheet is a simplified version of a much larger one, but the same prinicple will apply here. The user should first access the companies tab and in cell C3 and should select the company from the drop down- the table will then populate accordingly. After that is complete, the user will move to the Completeform tab, and the user should be able to enter Yes or No in cell K3. When the user enters Yes, I want the cells D7:D9 to populate with the data from cells C3:C5 from the Companies tab. If the user enters No in cell K3 of the completeform tab, the data will not pull from the other spreadsheet - the user will just have the capability of manually completing cells d7:d9.

    Thanks,
    verification spreadsheet.xlsx

    Hi benji,

Find the attached that has some Event Code behind your second sheet. I hope it makes sense to you so you can expand upon the idea.

I'm looking for a solution without using code.. The conundrum is that when the user selects No, I want them to have the capability of manually typing in the info for company, number, sources without erasing the underlying vlookup formula in the cell.

The issue for the solution provided in verification spreadsheet - ndm.xlsx‎, is that when the user selects "no" and then being to enter the info for company, phone number, source, the vlookup formula is obviously erased by the user. Is there any those formulas could only become active when the user enters "Yes" in cell K3

When you manually enter data into a cell that has a formula, the formula is replaced by the manual entry and is lost.
