How to calculate the Covariance for my Excel File?

Because I don't see any incidence of the COVAR() function in the workbook, it is really hard to understand what you are trying to get the covariance of.

The COVAR() function (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ma...578.aspx?CTT=1) is the built in function for calculating covariance. Can you explaine what you mean by "I tried to use the Covar(x,y) -- no help" means? Did the built in function give you an error value? Did it give you a wrong answer? What answer did it give you and what answer did you expect? From the help file I linked to, does it look like the COVAR() function is the correct function for the quantity you want to calculate?
