Need Help with Creating Searchable Email Database -- Excel -- for NonProfit

Hi ExcelForum users!
I was given a project to work on last week and I have run into some issues. I was given a contact list that was quite long that needed to be cleaned up. There was a column that contained data that should have been separated into two fields. I created a huge string of If functions to search and return the data to a new column I created. That was the easy part. Now I have multiple fields that the communications staff need to be able to search to return an email list. We have data in 4 columns that can be searched. In one of the columns multiple terms will be contained like public health, environment etc. So the goal is to have a way for people to be able to search by interests, region, media type to create an email list that does not contain duplicates. Have tried to do this in Outlook and could not get it to work for some reason it doesn't like the file I converted to csv. The other issue is there are only Mac's in this office so I cannot create an Access database. Hoping one of you can offer some guidance and support so we can keep up the good work over here!

what i need to accomplish is being able to search multiple columns. Some columns might return more then one value. Like interests some group might work with public health and geneder equality issues. I want to create a searchable database that can look up multiple values and exclude duplicates.
