Asset history in excel

Hi everyone,

I have a question which im strugling with.

I want to make a data sheet where i can pull the history of a curtain asset. its as follow, attached a file as i call it airs lookup tool
The top part is made to view the current data from a hidden csv sheet inside the file which will be updated daily.
Prefferable no changes must be made on this sheet cause its copy paste as it is.

In the main sheet called showlist below the first part there are some cells which i like to see the history of a asset pulled from the csv sheet, these must contain al history of this asset which is entered in C4. How do i accomplishe this. ive tried vlookup but it doesnt do it.

any help would be appreciated. ps the original csv containes 82000 assets, so ive shortened the file a bit
The history of an asset can contain 10 til 20 lines and several dates are there from 2014 till 2008

who can help me and explain things to me how it works best

Hi
There few things that we should consider.
I changed column names to make same with column names in csv file. If something is wrong there you can change it to correct one but it should be same with csv sheet.
Date there are not in date format. Thus listing there is not sorted.
I inserted your csv file datas into table. As you will add new data into csv your report will show newly added informations too.

ok look nice

however when i add or beter copy paste from the full csv en past it the newly added data wont show in the asset history. How do i add new data and let it show in the asset history.

also when i put in a asset tag i suppose the submitted asset tag should be the only one visible, sometimes also other assets showing up. how do i change this

Hi again

all looking good, however just one issue needs to be solved. when enteruing asset tag in C4 i need to see only the history odf that asset in the asset history, now it shows other items. can we fix this
