    Filtering data on columns (not the rows)

    Hi, could anybody help me how to filtering data from the columns please (not the rows)..?

    Usually we could filtering the rows with auto filter, right..?
    Now, is it possible to do that with columns..?

    No, it's not possible to do that using the Auto Filter Menu

    you cannot filter by columns. you can hide or unhide them. you could create a macro that based on some criteria, the rows are hidden or unhidden.

    Thank you for the feedback..

    But I have hundreds column need to be filtered and reported with that kind of format..
    If I hide them one by one, I will need plenty of time to do that..
    If I could at least do that with macro, how am I possibly to do that..?

    start Macro Recorder and start hiding or unhiding columns to understand how it works. then, based on your needs, run the macro.

    Well, that may be a good solution for this..
    but I will need to re-recording my macro when the data being updated on each columns, right..?
    Is there any simple trick to do this..?
    maybe VB code could solve the problem..?

    Based from the link, maybe I could do this:
    copy my data> go to new worksheet> paste special> transpose> filter data> copy my data with the filtered> go to another new worksheet> paste special> transpose..
    Well at this far, this may be the best idea to solve my problem..


    But, if there any better solution that might help, please let me know..
