Data labels omitted in my charts

I am trying to display data labels to my charts but every time I do I get an error message "The maximum number of data labels that can be displayed is 1000. Some labels will be omitted from the chart." Now I know I don't have 1000 data labels so I don't understand why I am getting these errors. Any ideas?

When I click inside any chart, then on select data, your horizontal axis field has a lot of blanks and when you scorll down to the end it has ... so i'm wondering if you are picking up a lot of empty cells or some bigger "range" than you need. When i click on select data the chart data range is empty so I can't see what your cell ranges for the chart are.

Ok so it probably has to do something with how I have my date range setup. Each column will be for a different date and I just selected the entire row for my series. How do I get a continuous date without having to select the entire row?
