Date picture taken data export into excel

    I am an excel newbie.
I've got over a thousand of image files in a folder. I want to export the date each of the pictures was taken into excel. Is there an easy way to do that? I've spent a whole hour and a half trying to figure it out using the help of forums but I don't understand. Do I need to run a macro? Is there an easy way to just copy and paste? Do I need to enter a specific code?

At the moment, my data is on a usb key: F:\CT5-A3-A4
    CT5-A3-A4 is my folder name

Can anyone clearly explain to me how I can get all this data into my excel spreadsheet? By the way I use Excel 2010

    Thanks heaps
