find last entry in a column
I would like a formula to find and use the last entry of a particular column, so that as more data is entered the formula chooses the last cell with data. In my example, my vacation credit = (250)(latest pay rate). Currently the latest rate is in cell E7, but can I instruct Excel to use whatever entry may come next?

This will give you the last row value.
=LOOKUP(1E+100,E3:E7)
