Question Conditional formatting - 2 different colors 3 different data options

    Hi

    Grading Multiple choice test

I am putting together a report and I want to highlight cells that were left blank and cells that were answered wrong

In column D I have the students response
    The cell can be

    1. + ========> if answer correct (I want this to stay as is = white)
    2. 0 ========> if answer was left blank (I want color 1 here)
    3. a,b,c,d,e ===> wrong answer is specified so student knows what he put ( I want color 2 here)

I can get the CF for the #2 (0) without a problem (cell value =0)

I am having problems with #3 the wrong answer option. I want to give a formula that says cell is either a,b,c,d OR e. I cannot put <>+ because #2 is also <>+

    Any ideas?

    thanks
