I will try to be as clear as i can:
I downloaded a document from the web to excel. This document contains divers calculations and text.
I set the page layout (margins) and added a header.
The text goes beyond the margins set on the excel sheet.

To simplify: taking a line(1) of text _ insert a blank line(2) _ going back to line 1 and deleting was goes beyond the margin _ going back to line 2
and deleting the portion that is on line 1 and add a line 3 if line 2 goes beyond the margin and repeating, ..

And i don't remember what i did but all of a sudden the line of text was made to fit in the margin!!
How can i achieve that. Because the way i am proceding is quite laborious!!

If all of the text is in once column, you could:
• Increase the column width so that it just fits within the page margin
• Set the cell format to Wrap Text
...Select the column of text
...Home.Wrap_Text

Is that something you can work with?

No, all the text is not in 1 column.

It's like this:

| A | B | C | ....

1 How do you do my friend

2 Where do you live.

When i use Wrap text, each line will be in column A line 1 line 2 line 3 ...(depending on the lengthof the phrase of course...)

In my case the phrases cover column A thru K, to work on a phrase, to correct a typo for ex., i have to click on cell A1

No, all the text is not in 1 column.
