Merge cells if other cell matches

    Hi!
I have a sheet where i want to merge the data that is in B2 if the data in A2 is of the same value. So all the rows that contains Mathias should gather all the values from corresponding column B2 and separated with commas. (as in attachments)
Is this possible with a formula? Thanks

I'm not sure if you are asking to actually merge the cells or if the desire is to have A2 and B2 combined separated by commas.

If it is the latter have you tried combining them in a third cell (C2 ?).....copying and pasting values back into B2? That could be done with this:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

If it is actually merging the cells I know of no formula / function that will do that.

    Does this help?

D1, D7 and D11 is what i am looking for. Thats the solution i need. The problem is that i got about 300 rows. So all the rows that contains the same value in column A, should merge the values from column B. A1 through A6 have the value "Thomas", the corresponding B cells contains 43, 44, ...,47. These values (from B column) should then be merged in a new cell.
    Hope this was clarifying

Sorry. I cannot read the uploaded image file. Many of us are unable to do so. If you upload a sample Excel workbook with say 50 or so rows representative of your data (desensitized) it might be clearer.
