Using =MAX I get a result from cell B3. Now I also need to get the value of the cell A3. I tried using =LOOKUP but its not working correctly. Is there any alternative to that?

Why would you use =MAX to get value from cell B3?

I am using =MAX because I need the highest value from B1:B10
Example: using =MAX, I get the max value from cell B3. Now I also need the left cell’s contents (A3)…

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
