    Blood Glucose readings

    I'm trying to build a spreadsheet that averages Blood Glucose readings.

    I have the formulae for the averages, weekly, monthly and annually.

    January is on one worksheet, February on another and so on.

    I'm hitting a brick wall when I try to collect the monthly data from each month and place it in a YTD worksheet.

    There will be 13 worksheets under one file.

    I'd like to have YTD be dynamic and update each time I input new data.

    This is for my own use.

    Thanks in advance.

    Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    xladept;

    I think this fits what you asked for.

    What I want to have is, the values in ROW 33 of the Jan worksheet, auto populate into ROW 2 of the YTD worksheet. And then the values in ROW 31 of the Feb worksheet, into Row 3 and so on.

    As I add values into Feb, Mar etc, the values in the bottom ROW of those sheets changes. I'd like those changes to automaGically happen in the YTD worksheet.

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Blood Glucose readings

    By creating separate sheets for each month, you are just making life difficult for yourself.

    You should keep all the daily entries on a single worksheet. Convert the data into a Structured Table. You can then use Autofilter and Sort to display entries of interest. You can also use a Pivot Table to analyse the data. Or, use COUNTIF, COUNTIFS, SUMIF, or SUMIFS to total values for your Year to Date figures.
