Dependent Auto Update drop down list

If I have a cell, lets say A1 which shows current year , 2016. and my dropdown list in B1,B2,B3, contain 3 values , 2014,2015 and 2016.

If the A1 cell auto update to 2017, is there any way i can chg my drop down list to 2015,2016 and 2017?

Appreciate your help on this. Thanks.

Hi mashz and welcome to the forum,

Put these formulas in the cells:

B1 = A1 - 2
B2 = A1 - 1
B3 = A1

Does this do what you want?
