Hello, a simple question that I've not been able to get an answer to. Are all Financial formulas in Excel 2013 based on 360 days in a year? Much appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the forum
I cannot say for sure about specific financial functions, but all excel date functions are based on 365 days - unless you use something like =DAYS360()
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Dave, I looked at that link and dont see anywhere it says how many days, did I miss it?
I can see that with some of the formulas there is a "Day Count Basis" which explains it. Thanks, Dave!

@ Ford,
Yeah. Down in the notes for each function there is an optional "Basis" argument. The default is 360 days for all the functions I checked. I almost missed it.
@ umberto
