Object names change when copying Sheets

When I duplicate a sheet the object names change and I receive an error. For example I have 8 Straight connectors numbered from 1 to 8. The copied sheet changes them all to a new number say 9 through 18. I can go through the code and change them all manually although it is very time consuming.

The error reads:

Microsoft Visual Basic
Run-time error '-2147024809 (80070057)':
The item with the specified name wasn't found.

Is there a way to have the connectors keep their original names or have the code automatically update to the new connector names?

This is the code im using. Its similar on most sheets , Just varies depending on application
