Somehow table has old deleted formula in memory and keeps adding it as I add rows

You more experienced users should understand how this works. I just discovered it after furiously arguing with excel over how it keeps throwing in this non-existent formula I'm actually familiar with as I use it in another table I must have imported this formula from.

So how do I remove this mysteriously saved old formula? I figure just converting the table off then recreate it is ready enough but I'd like to know if possible to get at this hidden info. Thanks

Have you tried to save the file, close and then reopen excel? I have had that before and that fixed it - other than the formula being stuck on the mempry stack, I have no idea what causes it
