    Circular Reference Help - GoalSeek/Solver

    Hi Guys

    I am struggling to solve cell using GoalSeek or Solver. I have set Cell C10 to a value of 0.6 by changing variable cell C9 but Solver reponds with "Solver cannot find a feasible solution" - I realise there is a circular reference or something somewhere but cannot seem to find which cell I need to change.

    Essentially, my aim it to adjust Cell B10 (i.e. the "LTV with Origination Fee") to = 60% rather than the 59.64% at the moment using a goalseek function.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    If I understand correctly, based on B10 "LTV with Orig Fee", you would like to find a loan amount such that the sum of the loan amount and the origination fee is 60% of the total cost (C6). If that is correct then the first thing that needs to be done is to change the formula for C10 to read =(C3+C4)/C6.
    Now you can run the goal seek by setting cell C10 to .6 by changing cell D3, as the value in D3 is used to compute C3. The goal seek solution here is that the loan amount changes to $59,760,000.
