    Trying to color code existing lines automatically without losing information.

    I have an existing file that's near complete.
    I'm trying to to color code certain lines, however I have many rows and columns that need to be altered, but keep there formula/info ect.

    Attached is a file of an example of what I'd like to learn.

    Row 1 to 4 I would like to auto set all the colors below them to match the color scheme I have.
    Cut and Paste wont work, because in my real file I have to much data I'd loose.

    Thanks =)

    Re: Trying to color code existing lines automatically without losing information.

    1. Select cells A1:F2
    2. Click on the Format Painter icon (little paintbrush)
    3. Click on A5 and drag down to F58

    When you release the mouse button, the format will be applied to all cells selected without affecting data
