Automatique exchange of data

Hello everybody,

I have a file containing a list of products. The problem is that I don't use all these products so I made a second file containing only the ones that I needed. What I need is to use the name of these products from the smaller list to search the primary list and transfert an other column that corresponds with the name.

So, I need the SupplierID from the limited list to be automatically filled with the same numbers from the primary list.

Hi Gallias,

In B3 of Limited list use:-
=VLOOKUP(A3,Sheet1!A3:B5,2,FALSE) and copy down.
