Formatting - adding new rows

hi,

i often present my data in a format like in the attached picture. However if i need to insert a row in, the colour coding goes out of sequence. (i.e. 2 blues in a row)

what is the quickest way to recover the pattern?

is it to take a copy of the table in format and paste format over again?
