Question 2 : if-examples.xlsx - in D52, I also want to create a dropdown list from Data Validation, I tried to put this "=$H$53:$H$57&$H$62,$H$66" in the source bar, but it didn't work.

how to fix it? thx

A picture is worth 1,000 words. An Excel sheet is worth 1,000 non-editable pictures.

Please read the yellow banner about sample worksheets, at the top of the screen. Act on its guidelines and post a SMALL sample sheet complete with an explanation and some expected results.

For Excel 2016 or something newer?

Try this:

=IFERROR(VLOOKUP($D$52,$H$53:$I$57,2,FALSE),VLOOKUP($D$52,$H$62:$I$66,2,FALSE))

Fot the DV list, it will have to be this:

=$H$53:$H$66

unless you create a single summary list somewhere else in the workbook and feed the list from that. This woulod be especially easy if you had MS365 or Excel 2021.
