Date Format from Google Analytics

Hi,

I am pulling data from Google analytics and the date comes out in this format


20230228
20230208
20230301
20230227
20230226
20230207
20231124


When I apply the short or long date format to the cells in turns to limitless hashtags as below. When I do the same function in Google sheets it turns it into a random number

I just want it separated into 2023/02/28 etc
