    Good evening

I don't know why Microsoft replaced the Einstein bloke with that wizard - cos he was my favourite too. There is a way to use him in Office 2003 though. The method is a little crude and sneaky, and probably in a way never intended by Microsoft.

First you need to find where the character file is stored (mine is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\) - if you don't know do a search for the file clippit.acs. Make sure all your characters are installed and choose one you could live without (I chose Clippit). Rename the file clippit.acs (say to clippit1.acs - just so Excel can't find it) and copy the file genius.acs from a previous office installation and rename it clippit.acs.

The next time yo start Excel and choose to select your assistant, Einstein will be in Clippits place (and quite right too...)

    HTH
