    2 little helps plz

    ok first one - how can i autofill a cell with 0.00 if no value is entered?

    and the other is - when i have formated the cell to Numbers it keeps removing the 0 form the begining of the value? eg 07889 ends up as 7889, is there a way to stop this? (i have to use NUMBER format or the =sum does not count the values in that column)

    Hi,

    Try Format cells, Currency, no $

    and Tools, Options, View, tick Zero Values

    =Sum will sum the column anyway, ignoring the non-numerics, as will =Count

    To retain leading zeros, format to Custom, 000000
    etc. =Sum and =Count recognise that number.
