Cell Reference Issue

Hi, this may be a simple answer, but I am having a difficult time trying to find
a way to read a DATE cell actual year value. The cell only references the date
number code 39115 which is the year 2007.

I am trying to read only the 07 part of the year. I used this formula but only
get a reference of 15, which is the number code. I want the 07 read and displayed.

H5=RIGHT(D10,2)

I'm trying to make H5 show the last 2 digits of 2007, Instead it only shows
the last 2 digits of the date code, not 07 of the year. D10 = TODAY()

D10 cell is formatted to read the date as yyyy (year only)

I had a feeling it may require a simple formula, but those can be the most
challenging when you're not up in the programming world...
