    Red face next problem

    can i impute text and data into sheet 1 and it will display on different sheets, for example column A list of first names, B list of jobs, C list of hours worked.
    so that all data for SAM will be also on Sam's sheet, all toms on toms sheet etc but only the columns that i want to be copied, and as i write new info the relevant sheets will up date themselves.

    Always best to give more details that way you get a less general answer


    You could use formula's but depending on how big the sheet is it might slow things down

    Here's a a site that has some code to make a new sheet for each person

    You could use VLOOKUP, but VBAnoob is right - it can slow things down if the workbook is large. Can you attach a copy of your spreadsheet so we can see what you are trying to do?
